Future

Theory building of strategic leadership as a complement to operational leadership, and both as part of leadership. Its application through five distinct types of leadership, namely: Political/Custodial, Disciplinary/Controllership, Inspirational/Common Purpose, Entrepreneurial/ Dynamic and Creative/Futurist. Imperatives of applying the right type of leadership to correspond with stable/turbulent business environments are emphasized and coupled with examples of US auto industry from 1900 to 2020. Further emphasis on supplementing the leadership type with leadership style(s); coaching, charismatic, cross-cultural, facilitative, faith, democratic, laissez-faire, socio-economic, situational, team, transactional, and transformational, that can be used as individually or in a combination of two or more styles to supplement the five distinct leadership types.
