Mink Stavenga
Dean - School of Business and Technology, Southwestern College
Dr. Mink Stavenga has served as Dean at colleges and universities in the United States for over thirty-four years. He currently serves as Dean of the School of Business and Technology for Southwestern College, a California Community College with enrollments in excess of 22,000. In this role he has been instrumental in developing a state-of-the-art Electric Vehicle training program: providing leadership for a $20 million redevelopment of San Diego's South Bay Botanic Garden for the Horticulture program; all while growing the enrollments and completion rates of students in the School during the post-pandemic era. Prior to this position Dr. Stavenga served as the Dean of the School of Business at the Gemological Institute of American (GIA), a Distance Education Accreditation Commission (DEAC) accredited institution, where he was responsible for building a start-up business school for “the world’s foremost authority in gemology,” a leading educator for the gem and jewelry industry worldwide. Previously he served as the Dean of the College of Business at Alliant International University and at United States International University in San Diego, CA. He received his DBA in Finance and MBA in International Business from United States International University, and he holds a B.Sc. In Computer Science from the University of Kent at Canterbury in England. Dr. Stavenga has published several case studies for the Hawaii International Conference on Business and co-authored a textbook on Tourism Economics. He has served on more than twenty Accreditation site-team visits, including ten as the Chair of a DEAC on-site Examining Committee.

Martina Moncada
With more than 20 years of professional higher education experience and 10 years of service in the United States Air Force, Martina has always been known for her passion to serve students and ensure their success.
In her professional career, she has consistently demonstrated her dedication and applied her proven knowledge and leadership skills to support the organizations. She has been working for, particularly on providing the bridge to help civilian students learn more about Veterans, dispel misconceptions, raise awareness of the advantages that student Veterans bring to the community and most importantly dedicated to the success of our military student population.
Her colleagues describe her as a high-energy, honest, forward-thinking, inspirational, competent, committed leader and problem solver while she sees herself as a superior organizer, mentor, open communicator, and relationship builder. She believes in courage therefore when addressing tough issues, one should take ownership and accountability for the issues.
Martina has spent five years, building from the ground up, a Military and Veterans Affairs office focused on serving military students for Alliant International University. She positioned Alliant as a military friendly university by implementing best practices and ensuring the successful transition and professional success of military students. During her tenure as Director, Alliant was designated as a "Military Friendly School” by G.I. Jobs Magazine and "Best for Vets” school by Military Times every year these competitions have been conducted.

California HR Services was created by Nadia Ardebili in response to many requests for her expertise as an HR professional with nearly 30 years of management, business and executive-level experience in start-ups and small businesses, as well as major Fortune 100/500 companies in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Nadia has worked in a variety of industries including Construction, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Arts and Entertainment, Education, Giftware, Internet Marketing and eCommerce. She possesses an MBA with an Emphasis in Human Resources Management, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in, Hospitality Management with minors in Business Administration and Marketing.
